Slow Progress and Brass Bands

Never move house. Just don't do it.

I'm currently in limbo, I haven't been able to move into my new house yet so all of my stuff (including most of the stuff I need to make music) is packed away in storage. I'm hoping to be moved into my new house by the beginning of next week, so I'll be able to resume regular blogging then.

I just got myself a new iPod Touch after my old one stopped working. I'm impressed with it so far, but why it needs two cameras is beyond me; it's a bloody MP3 player! Still, never mind, I'm sure I'll find a use for them at some point.

In other news, it's the annual Durham International Brass Festival this month, and I've seen a few cracking acts around town. I caught Beat 'n Blow the other day and they were amazing. Last year my favourite act were the Always Drinking Marching Band, and from what I gather they are coming back this year! I took a number of videos of them last year, but this is undoubtedly my favourite.

Make sure you check the festival out if you're in the North East. There are street performances happening every day, as well as events up at the Cathedral and at the Gala Theatre.
